We’re calling it; 2024 is the Year of the Chip, largely thanks to Frito-Lay. Recently, we posted an article detailing eight new Frito-Lay goodies that are either on shelves now or will be on their way soon. But the excitement doesn’t stop there. We’ve got details on even more products from Frito-Lay that are on their way to shelves soon this year, thanks to one of Super Snackfluencer Team Supernova’s sources. Here’s what to look out for.
Returning Fan Favorite Sun Chips Flavor
We start with a return of a fan favorite flavor of Sun Chips: Monterey Jack & Garden Tomato. These were out for a limited time last year and have already been spotted in stores this year. Once again, they’ll only be available for a limited time, so if you are a fan, it’s time to stock up.
New Ruffles Flavor
Next up, coming to store shelves NEXT MONTH is Korean-Style Sweet & Spicy Chili Ruffles. I tend to be a huge fan of anything spicy and sweet chili—especially the “accidentally vegan” Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos—so if these are comparable in any way, sign me right up!!
MORE New Cajun Chips
Frito-Lay isn’t limiting its Cajun seasoning to that new Cheetos flavor we reported on. Later this year (sources say fall or winter), a new Cajun spicy flavor of Lay’s Kettle Cooked chips will be dropping! Cajun AND kettled cooked chips!? Could it get any better than that?
New Doritos Dinimita Sticks
Earlier this year we were dazzled by a new line of Doritos Dinimita Stick snacks. If you are also a fan of the Dinimita Sticks, I have good news. A new flavor that is extra Flamin’ Hot is dropping later this year: Doritos Dinimita Xxtra Flamin’ Hot! Any other time Frito-Lay has gone the “Xxtra” route it has worked, and the combination of Dinimita Sticks and “Xxtra” hot feels like an absolute winner. Sources also point to this one being out either this fall or winter.
New Internationally Inspired Lay’s Flavors
In our last info drop of exciting Frito-Lay products, we reported on Wavy Tzatziki Lay’s as well as Honey Butter Lay’s (currently at Costco but expanding for this promotion). We can now add Masala Lay’s to that internationally inspired line-up. I am absolutely ecstatic about trying these. Word on the street is that all three of these new Lay’s should be dropping this fall, and you better believe that I’ll be first in line. Even if there’s not a line, I’m still going to be first in line. You can count on it.
